Magistrate Jacob P. Mosher
Magistrate Mosher was appointed to the General Division bench in March 2026.
Magistrate Mosher received his B.A. from Ohio University in 2012 and his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2015.
Before taking the bench, Magistrate Mosher was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office from November 2015 until he took the bench in 2026. He was assigned to many divisions, including representing Montgomery County Children’s Services in the Prosecutor’s Office Child Protection Unit, the Juvenile Division, felony trial attorney, and supervising attorney of the Grand Jury division.
Courtroom
The Magistrate conducts all hearings in Courtroom 109 which is located on the first floor of the Court Building. All parties are required to check-in with staff in Room 103.
Once you pass through security, turn right and it will be on the left-hand side of the hallway across from the Clerk of Court’s Office.
